Everything you need for a scary night of good eats is here.

Grown-ups love Halloween. Some, it could be argued, love it even more than the children. But as adults, we get the privilege of enjoying more than just Reese's and Tootsie Rolls or even the occasional caramel apple. There's an entire world of drinks and eats that fit the bill for Halloween while being just a bit more mature.

Here, we rounded up our favorite grown-up Halloween treats, from fancy cocktail mixers to wine and even a few nibbles. Almost everything you need for a Halloween cocktail party is here, and you didn't even have to find a ghost-shaped cupcake pick or turn apple slices and fish crackers into Zombie Lips.

1. Owl's Brew Cocktail Mixers

Blend up a potent potion with Owl's Brew Cocktail Mixers ($6.48; walmart.com). Each variety — our favorites are Chai Piña Colada and Wicked Margarita — is made with fresh-brewed tea, organic agave, fruit juices, and other fresh flavors. The bottle even tells you the best alcohol (rum for the piña colada, for example), so there's no guessing about the delightful concoction you're stirring.

2. Red Witch Cheese

This Swiss cheese goes well with wine or beer — and with carnival-like celebrations. The whole milk cheese has a paprika-rubbed rind and mild, nutty taste from five to eight months of aging. It's as pretty on the plate as it is tasty on the tongue. Look at your local cheese shop, or order half a pound and have it shipped right to you ($12.99; walmart.com).

3. Blue Diamond Ghost Pepper Almonds & Tart Cherry

This nut-and-fruit mix ($2.99; amazon.com) is like a devil and angel costume pairing. Fiery ghost pepper-seasoned almonds will ignite your palate, but the kick of tart cherries blunt the booooo-rn.

4. Gnarly Head Wines

The wines themselves are precisely what you know and love — Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and more — but the redesigned label is the perfect decor for a Halloween-decorated table. Find Gnarly Head wines ($12.99) in your neighborhood supermarket or wine store. Look for Authentic Black, a super dark, inky red wine with bold juicy fruit flavors and hints of rich dark chocolate.

5. Alter Eco Deepest Dark Super Blackout Bar

If the dark corners of haunted houses delight you, you'll love the superdark, er, flavors of this Alter Eco organic chocolate bar ($4.49; amazon.com). The intense fruity flavor of this 90 percent cocoa bar manages to still be sweet and smooth. The low sugar quantity (just 3 grams per servings) means it won't haunt the sips of the boo-ze you're sipping. Afraid of the dark? Bring a flashlight. This bar is worth the fright.

6. Justin's Mini Peanut Butter Cups

There's nothing particularly spooky about Justin's Mini Peanut Butter Cups ($5.49; justins.com), but you should have your own stash of candies. It's Halloween after all. Dark is our pick here. It's a more mature version of the orange-wrapped one everyone in the neighborhood is fighting over tonight, but if you're a milk guy or gal, or even if you like white, they've got the picks for you. Treasure each one for the gem of a candy it is.

7. Dandies Pumpkin Marshmallows

Finish off the night with Mellow Chocolate Chip Cookies, and add a little festive spirit with pumpkin-flavored Dandies Marshmallows ($13.05/pack of 2; amazon.com). The hit of pumpkin is quite mellow, and these marshmallows are free of high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, and colorings. It's the perfect finale for your evening's sweets.
