How are the local (UK, Australia, Canada, etc.) Allrecipes sites different from the original U.S. version?
The home page has been enhanced to include a recipe of the day, newest photos, and cook of the week from your region. We have also provided deeper and broader content on the local recipe and community pages, and worked to customize the site navigation features to quickly guide you to the content that is most relevant for your visit.
Can I view other local Allrecipes sites?
Yes, even though you are automatically directed to your location’s version of Allrecipes (i.e. if you live in the U.K., you will be directed to the U.K. version), you can easily go to other local versions. Look for Select Your Version at the bottom of the home page, click on a country, and off you go!
How do I know what scaling system is used for the recipes I am using?
For those living in the U.K. and Australia, the recipes default to metric (the rest default to U.S.). If you would prefer to view the recipe using U.S. scaling, simply click the round button labeled “U.S.” to the right of the recipe photo, then click the Change button to the right of the number of servings. The recipe will re-display using the scaling you chose.
